Sgt John “Jack” Hettchen #1428 Marine Corps League

From https://www.facebook.com/SgtJackHettchen/

The Marine Corps League is looking for a few good men and women. This time, we are not looking for someone to deploy around the world or to go into combat. We are looking for Marines who still have the spirit and would like to share the spirit with other Marines. We are the Marine Corps League. I would like to invite you to a meeting or other gathering of members to give you an introduction to the Sgt John ‘Jack’ Hettchen Detachment a sense of who we are and what we do.

The League is made up of Marines, FMF Navy Corpsmen and FMF Chaplains , who have 0rganized for the purpose of helping both the Corps and the community. We participate in programs such as Marines Helping Marines, Toys for Tots, Honor Guard functions, College Scholarships and other benevolent activities. We also participate in FELLOWSHIP, What is better than a group of Marines getting together and swapping Sea Stories? For additional information and/or making contact arrangements, please contact me at (240) 338-0929

Members of the Marine Corps League join in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving traditions. Promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service. Effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy. Voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines, FMF Corpsmen and former Marines and FMF Corpsmen and their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.
